My question relates to the fair-chase food meat donation program that has been conducted by the Guide Outfitters of B.C. since 1993. Just in 2010, they donated 900 pounds of wild meat to the Salvation Army in Kelowna for redistribution. The guide-outfitters point out that wild game meat is natural, organic and has no steroids, artificial colours, hormones or other chemicals. It's lower in fat and higher in protein than commercial domestic meats.

There will be some people rocking it out in Smithers, and it's not just because Grammy-nominated hometown musician Alex Cuba is playing Thursday night. Rocking is it with the annual Minerals North Conference hosted by Smithers and Telkwa this Wednesday to Friday.

The Minister of Children's own numbers show there are over 124 children and youth involved with her ministry residing in or frequenting Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. How can the minister possibly think that waiting a year after the Paige report to provide five beds for 124 youth is an adequate response to the needs of these young people?
