Doug in QP re: gov’t support for aboriginal children and families

Fifty-three percent of the kids in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development are aboriginal. Yet those self-identifying as aboriginal make up only about 5 percent of the people in the province. That is a huge overrepresentation and speaks to the dire circumstances that some aboriginal kids face.
