MLA Speaker Series: Privatizing the Commons
Professor Scott Lehmann will discuss the issue of Crown Land privatization in British Columbia. Dr. Lehmann is in Smithers to present at the Interface Conference (http://www.bvcentre.ca/interface2010), June 16-18, which is hosted by the School of Environmental Planning of the University of Northern British Columbia in association with the Bulkley Valley Research Centre. Dr. Lehmann is Professor Emeritus, Department of Philosophy, University of Connecticut, and the author of “Privatizing Public Lands” (Oxford Press).
